Leg 4: EDLB Borkenberge to EDLT Münster-Telgte

Upon landing in Münster-Telgte, we got a call from LVNL.

“Are you the pilot of PH-TCM?”
“Yes.”
“Have you read the NOTAMs?”
“We just landed, so not the most recent ones.”
“Well, we see you have a flight plan from Stadtlohn to Hilversum, but Hilversum is closed due to an incident, and it looks like it’s going to take a while to reopen. You may want to make other plans.”

And that is how we created our second diversion of the day, refiling a flight plan from EDLS Stadtlohn to EHRD Rotterdam with EHHV Hilversum as alternate.

After a quick call to VSH, the plan became this: fly to Stadtlohn, then call Hilversum again to ask if they had reopened. If no, we’d refuel and fly to Rotterdam. If yes, we’d not refuel and go to Hilversum with Teuge as alternate.
